I took up golf with some degree of seriousness after High School so I could play with my pal Curt Ervin. He put up with me.Years later (about 30) I did it again . And enjoying the immense hospitality of my sisiter Patti and her late husband Mickey I was able to play several times a year at Falling creek.
It was there that I renewed my acquaintance with Harry. Of course I remember him from his golf at GHS. But,It was great to see him and fellowship with him again. I was saddened at the news of his death. Great fellow.
Bye Harry

You football players should remember Harry as "The Toe". Great classmate and he will be missed.Becky Thompson (Rhine)
When I was a kid, I was constantly dragging lost animals home - still have a bit of a tendency to do that! I am not sure how old I was, probably 6th grade when I presented my mother with yet another homeless dog. The Fowlers did not have a dog at that point, so Dolly became part of their family. That dog created a bond between Harry and I (and his family) that always existed. It had been many years since I had seen him, but kept up through his mother. His passing was way too soon!Ella Whitley (Rodgman)
Harry had a beautiful smile. I knew him for a long time. His life was cut too short. I wish he could be with us.
