.Don passed away peacefully on January 2, 2008. He went home to be with his Lord knowing that his work here was done. Don passed from complications of diabetes and kidney failure. He is missed by those that knew him.
Don was a great friend that was my pleasure to have known since grade school. Don and I were in Scouts together and always lived by the Scout Oath and Law in his business.
Don was a wonderful cook and owned several restaurants during his life.
Don never married but had a great many friends that could always count on him.
Don hosted many batchelor parties and loved being the organizer and planner of these special events. He spared no expense to show his friends a great time. These were very classy events that are to be remembered for their style.
Don and I had several classes together and he was a good friend. Saw him many times around town and always enjoyed his company. Sorry he had to leave us too soon, and he would just love to be at the reunion! God Bless
As you all know, I did not attend GHS, but I knew Don at Harvey and saw him when I came back from Europe to visit though High School. He was such a nice, gentle guy - always glad to see me, always made me feel like I was "home" where I belonged. I am so sorry he will not be with us at the reunion, where he should be.
Don was one of the most giving people I ever met! He loved to cook for his friends and to celebrate their accomplishments with them. I miss you, my Friend!!

Don and I were never real close but I remember him from early years. His brother Louis was my age.I do recognize, as his close friends have said here, that he was a personable, accomplished man who meant an awful lot to those friends.
It is a shame that he will no be with us but it is not ours to question. We can only relish our memories and celebrate them.
